Lionesses are 4NCL Division 3 Champions!

She Plays To Win broke new ground as the Lionesses team emerged as Division 3 Champions of the 4NCL National League.

The 4NCL is the prestigious national chess league, with 4 divisions and over 90 teams from all over the UK participating.

The Lionesses emerged as Division 3 winners after 11 rounds over 5 weekends this season. A absolutely brilliant success, and they now get promoted to Division 2 where they will face even stronger opposition. The girls are looking forward to the challenge!

SPTW has 4 teams in total in the 4NCL, and a special mention to the Falcons Squad who came 7th= (10th on tie break) out of 32 teams in Division 4.
